Country Holiday Cottage near Harlech
Leaded windows, climbing roses, hydrangea and honeysuckle. The inside of the cottage is elegant and stylish - cosy sitting room, fine antique furniture, luxurious cream kitchen, low beamed ceilings and lovely views from the bedrooms to the garden below. Delightful gardens surround the cottage - terraces, patios, interesting exotic plants, shrubs, fruit trees, vegetables,greenhouse, arches, pergolas, pond and little pathways - a riot of colour from Spring to late Autumn. Beside the cottage is a woodland garden with access to National Park woodland myriad tiny, quiet lanes lead up to the beautiful mountain scenery including the Nantcol Valley - perfect walking country. The owner, a former AA and Michelin recognised hotelier/chef, leaves home prepared meals in the freezer which can be purchased during your stay - she lives unobtrusively in a small cottage in the garden.

In Snowdonia National Park, Llanbedr is an unspoilt village ‘ lost in time’ with places to eat including The Victoria Inn, Ty Mawr Hotel, both situated on the banks of the Artro River and Hen Feudy all within walking distance. Shell Island with its beautiful beaches, Llandanwg with spectacular views of Snowdon and the vast unspoilt expanse of golden sands at Harlech, also famous for its magnificent castle (celebrated in the song ‘ Men of Harlech’ ) and Barmouth are all within a short drive. Slate Caverns, Maes Artro(a museum of bygone times), drovers trails, a plague wreck, Eryri Vineyard. For the garden enthusiast Tan-y-Bwlch (National Park), Plas Brondanwg and Portmeirion, the famous Italianate village, is nearby: Bodnant is only an hour’ s drive. Country cottage Snowdonia

ACCOMMODATION:
2 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 4. One twin bedroom and one double bedroom with king size bed, blankets, floral canopies, antique furniture and both with views over garden. (low beamed ceilings). Both on 1st floor. Bedlinen provided.
Bathroom (newly installed) on 1st floor with bath, washbasin, toilet and walk-in shower.
Kitchen luxurious fitted cream units, integral electric oven with hood, microwave, fridge with ice box, freezer, washing machine. Pine table and chairs seating 4.
Lounge/Diner stone fireplace with multifuel stove for central heating, 3 piece suite, ottoman, bookshelves, tv/video/dvd, cd/radio. French doors to porch. Dining table and chairs seating 6/8.
Fuel Night storage heaters and fuel for stove inclusive May to September, £20 per week outside these dates.
Grounds extensive enclosed gardens, all organic, with terrace, patios and paths. Small pond (care with toddlers please). Garden furniture.
Ample parking.
