  • Walk directly onto the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from this holiday cottage at the edge of the small village of Trefin.
  • Originally 3 fishermen’s cottages, this is now an interesting home full of character, with a Sauna, Jacuzzi bath and heated water bed!
  • The cosy sitting room has an open fire, low ceilings, views across to Strumble Head from the front and patio doors opening onto a small, rear, sheltered garden and patio - care with small children please, there are 2 ponds.

  • St Davids Peninsula
  • Trefin has a pub – The Ship Inn - and the Oriel Y Felin Gallery & Tearoom – winners of the2007 Les Routiers ‘British Café of the Year’ all within a 5 minute stroll.
  • Aber Felin, a 15 minute walk away, is a small, shingle and sandy cove with rock pools overlooked by the ruins of Melin Trefin Mill – the Coastal Path can also be joined here.
  • This is a wonderful base from which to explore Pembokeshire’s Coastal Path, perhaps at its most spectacular along this rocky stretch of coast – wild and wonderful in the autumn and winter gales, strewn with wild flowers and alive with bird song during the spring and summer.
  • The Strumble Shuttle – a ‘hail & ride coastal bus service’ ideal for walkers, stops in the village 3 times a day during the summer months.
  • Abercastle, once a busy little port, the hilltop village of Mathry with its pub, tea room and Church and St Davids, the smallest cathedral city in Britain, art and craft galleries, tea rooms, restaurants and shops, are all within a short drive of this cottage near the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
  • ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 7 plus travel cot on request. 2 doubles (1 with heated water bed) on 1st floor, 1 twin and 1 single on ground floor.
